Terms of service

These terms cover use of Made By Skill by creators.

1. What this service is

Made By Skill is a platform for producing original educational short-form videos and, at the creator's direction, publishing them to accounts the creator owns and has connected.

2. Your account and your accounts

You are responsible for the accounts you connect. You must own or be authorized to act for any account you connect. You may disconnect at any time, which revokes our authorization and deletes the stored credential.

3. What we will and will not do on your behalf

We will send a specific video to a specific connected account when you explicitly confirm that post. We will not post anything you did not confirm, we will not change your profile on any platform, and we will not perform engagement actions of any kind.

4. Content and rights

Videos produced here use source material under licences that permit commercial derivative use, and music that is original, owned, or licensed for commercial use. You remain responsible for how you use the videos you publish and for complying with the terms of any platform you publish to.

5. Platform rules

When you publish to a third-party platform, that platform's rules apply to the post. Their moderation decisions are theirs. We report those decisions to you as given; we do not appeal, circumvent, or reinterpret them.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use this service to produce or publish content that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, that impersonates a person or organisation, or that is designed to deceive. Do not use it to attempt to evade a platform's rate limits, verification, or moderation.

7. Availability

This service is provided as-is. Third-party platforms can change their APIs, their policies and their availability, and a capability that works today may stop working. When a platform capability is unavailable, we say so rather than pretending the action succeeded.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including losses caused by a third-party platform's decisions about your content.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your connections at any time. We may suspend access for use that violates section 6.

Material changes to these terms are described here before they take effect.
